And almost certainly the woman who dies thirty-five years later in the same town. «17 Settembre 1879, casa 346 — Anna Maria Defranceschi, moglie di Giacomo Rocco fu Matteo», aged 35, of idrope, all sacraments (film 005497834). A woman born 20 October 1844 is thirty-four years and eleven months old on 17 September 1879, which is what a clerk writes as thirty-five. The death entry's «fu Matteo» reads most naturally as her husband's father — but her own father was a Matteo too, and the archive notes that rather than choosing.)
