The family
No family chart is drawn for this person, and that is a statement about the data rather than about them. This archive records kin against a name — the tree on a name page gathers everyone who shares it, so it may hold one person's dates beside another's wife. Rather than hand a reader a family that might not be this person's, the chart is drawn only where the relationship is recorded person by person, which today means the direct line.
What the archive knows
Killed as a civilian in the Carnian valleys, and his name is cut on two memorials.
> GUERRA 1940 – 1945 — CIVILI CADUTI 1 E 2. XI. 1944 — STRADIOTTO ANGELINA · DE FRANCESCHI EGIDIO · FABRIS GEOM. GIOVANNI · FABRIS TULLIO · FELICE GUIDO · GALLO ETTORE · MICOLI ELIO — «F. F. 19 - 9 - 1954», the memorial set up nine years after.
> NOVEMBRE 1944 — MAGGIO 1945 — DE FRANCESCHI EGIDIO · FABRIS GIOVANNI · FABRIS TULLIO · FELICE GUIDO · GALLO ETTORE · MARIN ANTONIO · MICOLI ELIO · NOT ANTONIO · NOT LINO · NOT SECONDO · PALMA ELIGIO · PIEMONTE PAOLINO · STRADIOTTO ANGELINA · TIMEUS GUERRINO — a second stone, in a second cemetery, with fourteen names and no separation of soldier from civilian.
Read 29 September 2026 from David's photographs of the Carnian cemeteries — Ovaro, Mione, Muina and Agrons. ⚠ Which of the four cemeteries this stone stands in is not distinguished in the photographs, and is not guessed here. (doc for both.)
⚠ His name heads the civilian list on both stones, and on the first it is dated to two days: 1 and 2 November 1944. This archive records what is cut and does not characterise the events of those two days; the Carnian autumn of 1944 is contested ground and a one-name study is not where that is settled.
⚠ He is not the Egidio born 11 February 1944, who died in 2013. That child was nine months old when this man was killed, and may well have been named for him. (inf.)
No birth date is on either stone, so none is given here.
No one else in this archive carries this name.
