The family
No family chart is drawn for this person, and that is a statement about the data rather than about them. This archive records kin against a name — the tree on a name page gathers everyone who shares it, so it may hold one person's dates beside another's wife. Rather than hand a reader a family that might not be this person's, the chart is drawn only where the relationship is recorded person by person, which today means the direct line.
What the archive knows
Born 14 January 1908 at Crikvenica — the day and the town, from his German work card: «Tag und Ort der Geburt: 14.1.1908 in Cricvenica, Kroatien-Jugoslawien», employer Hermann Sauer, Reutlingen-Süd, stamped by the Bürgermeister of Pfullingen 28 February 1950. This archive had «1908» and nothing finer, and no Croatian register has been read for him. (doc.)
Single, at Pfullingerlandstraße, Reutlingen. Motor mechanic for Hermann Sauer from July 1941, then a driver for Wilhelm Heim, then back to Sauer. The Reutlingen town list puts him in the town from 15 August 1941 to 8 October 1942.
