The family
No family chart is drawn for this person, and that is a statement about the data rather than about them. This archive records kin against a name — the tree on a name page gathers everyone who shares it, so it may hold one person's dates beside another's wife. Rather than hand a reader a family that might not be this person's, the chart is drawn only where the relationship is recorded person by person, which today means the direct line.
What the archive knows
Domenico's second wife — and the reason a 1780 godmother is not who this archive nearly said she was.
(doc.)
Her father is Giuseppe Placich, of the parish of Šimuni.
⚠ She is not Fusca de Franceschi. The baptism register of April 1780 gives godparents «Dominicus Defranceschi, et Fosca Uxor ejus», and this archive holds another Fusca — Matteo's daughter, married to a Jacomini of Parenzo in 1773. The 1780 wife is this woman, married fifteen months before. Two Foscas in one parish in one decade, and only the marriage register separates them.
Born about 1755 — estimated from the marriage.
