The family

No family chart is drawn for this person, and that is a statement about the data rather than about them. This archive records kin against a name — the tree on a name page gathers everyone who shares it, so it may hold one person's dates beside another's wife. Rather than hand a reader a family that might not be this person's, the chart is drawn only where the relationship is recorded person by person, which today means the direct line.

What the archive knows

A Vincentian priest in Brazil. In 1912 he describes Rio de Janeiro for «The Catholic Advocate» as «Rev. Jose de Franceschi, C.M.»; in January 1930 the Holy See appoints him Regional Director of the Society for the Propagation of the Faith for Brazil's Third Region, reported in «Freeman's Journal», «The Catholic Press» and «The Southern Cross». The only named person of this name this archive has found in Brazil, where its own emigration map marks a cluster it has never put a person on.

No one else in this archive carries this name. See the name index →
