Leonardo de Franceschi da Gollogorizza Diocesi di Pedena…» — his son marrying, and styling himself son of the late Leonardo. So a Leonardo de Franceschi connected to Gologorica was dead before 14 March 1785. (doc for the patronymic and for his being dead by that date; inf that he is this Leonardo.)
This also moves the Carnia chain, whose first generation is a «qm. Leonardo» known only from a styling of 1808 and reasoned to have died «before 1808». The marriage of 1785 pushes that back twenty-three years.
