The family

No family chart is drawn for this person, and that is a statement about the data rather than about them. This archive records kin against a name — the tree on a name page gathers everyone who shares it, so it may hold one person's dates beside another's wife. Rather than hand a reader a family that might not be this person's, the chart is drawn only where the relationship is recorded person by person, which today means the direct line.

What the archive knows

Daughter of the late Giacomo Corva of Muina, in the diocese of Udine; married Antonio de Franceschi of Gologorica at Svetvinčenat on 14 March 1785. She was living in the parish when she married — «soggetta però alla mia cura spirituale» — though of Muina by origin, and her banns were read there on 20, 22 and 23 December before. Her father Giacomo Corva is named here for the first time in this archive, and was already dead in 1785. The Carnia page had this woman only as «Maria née Corva», wife of the Muina household's second generation, with no marriage found and no father's name. (doc for the entry; inf that she is that Maria.) Svetvinčenat marriages, FamilySearch film 005497886, frame 98, carta 55 (image apid TH-1971-28345-30992-34).
