The family

No family chart is drawn for this person, and that is a statement about the data rather than about them. This archive records kin against a name — the tree on a name page gathers everyone who shares it, so it may hold one person's dates beside another's wife. Rather than hand a reader a family that might not be this person's, the chart is drawn only where the relationship is recorded person by person, which today means the direct line.

What the archive knows

Wife of Antonio Defranceschi, named in the year of the exemption. Carta 80, 1 May 1780: «Patrini ad sacrum fontem fuere Michael Roubaglich ex Parrochia Sanvincentina et Matthea uxor Antonij Defranceschi» — godmother to Joannes, son of Gregorio Matias and Lucia. The Antonio she is married to is almost certainly the Antonio of Atti 48 — «Guidati da Antonio Defranceschi, nel 1780 avevano ottenuto l'esonero dal partecipare alla difesa armata» — same castle, same year. This archive does not merge them: the register gives a husband's forename and the article gives a leader's, and nothing yet joins the two documents. (doc for the entry; inf for the identification.) Read off the leaf, 21 September 2026 — film 005497885, births 1764–1791, frame 81. And she is still alive two years later. Frame 98 of the same volume, 18 August 1782: «Patrini ad sacrum fontem fuere Martinus Merklem, et Matthea Vxor Antonij Defranceschi» — godmother to Maria, daughter of Georgius Piglich and Lucia. Magnified. Her attested span is now 1 May 1780 to 18 August 1782, and her husband is alive alongside her. (doc.)
