The family

No family chart is drawn for this person, and that is a statement about the data rather than about them. This archive records kin against a name — the tree on a name page gathers everyone who shares it, so it may hold one person's dates beside another's wife. Rather than hand a reader a family that might not be this person's, the chart is drawn only where the relationship is recorded person by person, which today means the direct line.

What the archive knows

Adami Giovanni > INAUG. 22 - 8 - 1920 — I COMPAGNI DI MUINA POSERO Read 29 September 2026 from David's photographs of the Carnian cemeteries. (doc.) «SOLD.» — soldato, a private. *He and Isidoro are the two of this name on the stone; sixteen men of one small Carnian village are on it altogether, with four Stefani and two Lorenzini among them. ⚠ The memorial gives no dates, as First World War village memorials usually do not — only that he was dead by 22 August 1920, when «i compagni di Muina» set it up. No birth year is offered here. ⚠ He is not Vittorio de Franceschi 1927–2006, who was born nine years after this war ended. And this stone does one more thing: it names a cemetery. «I COMPAGNI DI MUINA POSERO» is the only inscription in the whole set that says which of the four villages it stands in.
