Kršan
Two De Franceschi women marry two Domazetović men in twelve years — and one of them is a Gologorica woman.
Kršan holds five records of the name and they are all of one kind. Anna Maria Francisca De Franceschi × Thomas Joachimus Clemens de Domazetovich — children baptised 1881, 1883 and 1887. Clotildis Adelaidis Defranceschi × Rudolfus Stanislaus de Domazetovich — children in 1893 and 1894. Two women of the name, two men of one family, inside twelve years, in a parish where the surname appears nowhere else.
And the first of them is not a stranger. This site's Gologorica page has carried her since September: «Anna Maria Francisca, born at Gologorica 28 October 1860, married a Domazetovich, died at Trieste on 22 June 1941.» The roster had her birth as 1880 — which would have made her a year old at her first child's baptism — and the two records were never set beside each other until the pedigree gate refused to draw her chart and the refusal had to be explained.
So the Kršan marriages reach back to Gologorica, the village of this archive's own line, thirty kilometres north-west. Whether Clotildis Adelaidis is her sister the register does not say, and this page will not guess.
The index spells the husband's name four ways across three entries — Thomas Joachimus Clemnet, Thomas Joachimus Celmes De Domazetovich, Thomas-Joachimus-Clemens Domazetovich — which is the ordinary condition of this material and the reason a name alone settles nothing.
