Francisca Angela Defranceschi
Francisca Angela Defranceschi, 1891. Pola. Every mention of this name in the archive — 1 across 2 pages.
Born 27 September 1891 at Pola, baptised at the cathedral on 15 November 1891 (house 26, Via Bisia): the first child of the Pola chimney sweep Joannes Baptista and Dominica Clagnan, born before their wedding. The entry reads «Defranceschi Joannes, qm Francisci, e Pola, camini scopator» and «Clagnan Dominica, qm Angeli, e Pola»; sponsors «Sissan Petrus, maritimus» and «Nitzer Maria»; midwife Maria Dobrez; and a line below the entry: the father «se patrem coram me baptizante ac teste … declarat», witness Vicevich Nicolo (Pula births 1887–96, Liber IX, p. 645, entry 807, image 340 of waypoint 9R2Z-3T1, open; doc — read at level 13 on 18 October 2026). A margin note: «Legitimata per subsequens matrimonium Polae die 20 Januarii 1894 celebratum, Tom. V p. 139» — legitimated by the marriage of her parents, the entry the archive already holds (Joannes Baptista, Pula marriages p. 139, entry 12); a second, later hand dated 23 February 1914 follows and is not read with certainty. Until this page she was index-only in household h047 (FamilySearch index 6YB5-FXYN), and the household's own note had the birth only from the index; the page confirms the date and adds the father's declaration and the legitimation. She is the sister of Alexander Angelus, b. 1893, who carries the same legitimation note.

This person has not been written up in an essay yet — most often read straight off a register page that no index anywhere contains. What is known is at the top, and the pages linked above are where the finding sits.
A dossier is every mention of a name anywhere in this archive's data, gathered automatically and linked back to the page it appears on, with what the archive knows about the person set out at the top. Identity here is by NAME, not by resolved individual: where two people share a name they share a dossier, and the archive says so rather than guessing. Rebuilt from the roster, so every person the archive can name has a page — including the ones read straight off a register that no index anywhere contains.
