Maria Regina De Stefano
Maria Regina De Stefano, 1888. Pola. Every mention of this name in the archive — 1 across 3 pages.
Born 7 June 1888, baptised at the Pola cathedral on 19 July (house 357, Fondaco): daughter of the stonecutter «De Stefano Antonius, Andreae, e Medun [Udine]» and «Gradara Sancta, Joannis, e Tergesto»; sponsors «Andruzzi Carolus, possidens» and «Mattiassich Regina»; midwife Dobrez Maria (Pula births 1887–96, p. 142, entry 464, image 86 of waypoint 9R2Z-3T1, open; doc). A margin note: «Juncta est matrimonio Polae die 5/8 1908 cum Franc… Defranceschi. Juncta est II. cum …aeo die 17 Septembr. 1913» — she married a Defranceschi at Pola on 5 August 1908 and married again on 17 September 1913 (doc for the note; the second husband's forename ends «…aeo», Matthaeus read with doubt, and no surname is written). The 1913 remarriage suggests, inf, that her first husband had died or the marriage had ended; the page does not say. Not of the name's surname; kept because she married into it. A brother, read the same day: «Antonius Michael» Destefano, born 23 December 1889 and baptised on 10 March 1890 (house 357, Fondaco), son of «Destefano Antonius, Andreae, e Medun, lapicida» and «Gradara Sanita, Joannis, e Justinopoli» (Pula births 1887–96, p. 369, entry 173, image 212 of waypoint 9R2Z-3T1; doc). The mother's birthplace is written «Justinopoli» (Koper) here and was read «Tergesto» on Maria Regina's own entry; the two readings are not reconciled. No margin note ties him to a Defranceschi.

This person has not been written up in an essay yet — most often read straight off a register page that no index anywhere contains. What is known is at the top, and the pages linked above are where the finding sits.
A dossier is every mention of a name anywhere in this archive's data, gathered automatically and linked back to the page it appears on, with what the archive knows about the person set out at the top. Identity here is by NAME, not by resolved individual: where two people share a name they share a dossier, and the archive says so rather than guessing. Rebuilt from the roster, so every person the archive can name has a page — including the ones read straight off a register that no index anywhere contains.
