Usualdus Defranceschi
Usualdus Defranceschi. Gologorica. Every mention of this name in the archive — 3 across 3 pages.
Father of Antonius (b. 14 April 1814) and brother of Leonardus of house 6. Named three times on one page of the 1826 status animarum: in the name column as «Antonius Defranceschi filius Usualdi et Apoloniæ»; in the adnotatio, which calls Leonardus the boy's patruus — his father's brother — who «hunc in filium adoptivum accepit»; and at the foot of the page as «Usualdus … pater Antonii», written against a house marked «non habitata». His own house at Gologorica stood empty when the census was drawn. No dates are given for him anywhere in the book. (doc.) Leonardus and Matthea are now recorded with no children; Antonius moves to a new household under Usualdus Defranceschi and Apollonia, both of whom are new to this archive. Every descendant already published under Antonius keeps its place — he did head house 6 — but his ancestry above that point changes. That Leonardus and Matthea were childless is the obvious reason…

A dossier is every mention of a name anywhere in this archive's data, gathered automatically and linked back to the page it appears on, with what the archive knows about the person set out at the top. Identity here is by NAME, not by resolved individual: where two people share a name they share a dossier, and the archive says so rather than guessing. Rebuilt from the roster, so every person the archive can name has a page — including the ones read straight off a register that no index anywhere contains.
