The family

No family chart is drawn for this person, and that is a statement about the data rather than about them. This archive records kin against a name — the tree on a name page gathers everyone who shares it, so it may hold one person's dates beside another's wife. Rather than hand a reader a family that might not be this person's, the chart is drawn only where the relationship is recorded person by person, which today means the direct line.

What the archive knows

Married at Pola on 4 February 1863, aged 25: «Catterina-Cristina Ilovar di Trieste», of house 320, to «Andrea-Nicolò Petris di Pola, Negoziante», aged 32 (Pola marriages 1858–73, Liber IV, p. 61, entry 6, image 392 of waypoint 9R28-T3F, open; doc). Her parents are «Giuseppe Ilovar, Mastro-muratore» and «Maria di Franceschi», dead (see her row). Born about 1837–38 (inf from the age); the family name is read «Ilovar», «Novar» not excluded. Kept because she is the daughter of the only woman of the name in the book so far. Told in the Pula section.

No one else in this archive carries this name.
