The family

No family chart is drawn for this person, and that is a statement about the data rather than about them. This archive records kin against a name — the tree on a name page gathers everyone who shares it, so it may hold one person's dates beside another's wife. Rather than hand a reader a family that might not be this person's, the chart is drawn only where the relationship is recorded person by person, which today means the direct line.

What the archive knows

Born at Pola on 26 December 1871, baptised on the 31st — the son of «Gregorio Mohorat di Francesco da Bogliuno, pittore in arsenale» and «Rosa Cheba di Giorgio da Barbana» (Pula births 1869–75, Liber VII, p. 275, entry 558, image 554 of waypoint 9R2X-SP8, open; doc). Kept because of the margin of his baptism: «Die 14.IV.1911 cum Defran-/ceschi Domi-/nica matri-/monio est iunctus» — married on 14 April 1911 to a Dominica Defranceschi (doc, level 13); a stamp records the surname changed to «Ermacora» (read as 18.4.1931, level 12). His sister Anna, born 12 December 1872, was baptised at Pola on the 26th (Liber VII, p. 362, entry 537, image 598; the father there spelt «Mohoraz»). Not of the name; a groom. Who his wife was is not settled: see the Pula section and the bride's row.
