This chart is the direct line and nothing else. Where it is drawn it is read from the direct line, person by person.

What the archive knows

⭐⭐ READ ON THE PAGE, 12 October 2026 — and the register names his mother and no father. Ližnjan «Liber Defunctorum», page 68, entry 10 of 1875, house 71, Anagr. II. 2: > «Mortuus die 19 Sept., Sepult. 21 ejusdem, 1875» · «Joannes fil. Justinæ Defranceschi» · cathol., mascul., «dies 22» · «nat. 28/8 75» · «ordinaria» · D. G. Smak, parochus Born 28 August 1875, dead 19 September, buried the 21st, aged twenty-two days. Born the 28th and dead the 19th is twenty-two days, and the register's own figure agrees. ⚠ THE ENTRY NAMES HIS MOTHER AND NO FATHER — «fil. Justinæ Defranceschi». Every other entry on the opening names both parents: «filia Antonii et Antoniæ Fedel», «filia Joannis et Luciæ Perković nata Josephi Klunić», «filia Antonii et Annæ Fedel». That contrast is what the register says; nothing beyond it is asserted here. The death register of this parish carries no legitimacy column — the baptism register does — so the only evidence is the shape of the entry itself. ⚠ His mother is NOT Magdalena Justina, who was born in 1879, four years after this child died. A second Justina Defranceschi stood at Ližnjan in 1875, and this archive holds no record of her. He is the third child of the name buried at Ližnjan in 1875 — the twins Maria and Anastasia went together on 22 February, and he followed in September. Waypoint 9R2Z-4WG, frame 38.
