The family

No family chart is drawn for this person, and that is a statement about the data rather than about them. This archive records kin against a name — the tree on a name page gathers everyone who shares it, so it may hold one person's dates beside another's wife. Rather than hand a reader a family that might not be this person's, the chart is drawn only where the relationship is recorded person by person, which today means the direct line.

What the archive knows

⚠ 6 October 2026 — this row was stale, and the archive already knew better. It said «Tree-derived: no register has been read for this person here» while the line data had carried his death since earlier the same day. A finding written into one file and not the other is exactly the failure this archive checks for; it was caught by re-reading the page and testing the roster against it. The entry. Gologorica deaths, image M01069257, page 58: > «Die 19: Xbris 1817 hora 10ma noctu · 17 · Maximilianus Joseph Defranceschi, D[omi]ni Josephi filius · 4 ann[i], mens. fere 3 · Vermes et Tussis cum febri maligna» — buried the 20th «sub solis occasum ob signa putrefactionis», at sunset, because the body would not keep. Dead at four years and three months, so born about September 1813 — which is the year the tree gave him. (doc.) ⚠ The birth stays undeclared: an age at death implies a year and an implied year is not a declared one. ⭐ House 17 — and that is the number the book's index gives his father's household, «Defranceschi Joseph N.º 17». One more confirmation that the index numbers houses. His father is styled «Dominus» in the entry. He is the elder Maximilianus. A second son of the same house was given his name in 1828 and lived to 1910.
