Emilia Košara (wife of Stephanus Buić, Pomer)
Emilia Košara (wife of Stephanus Buić, Pomer). Pomer, Istra. Every mention of this name in the archive — 1 across 3 pages.
Wife of Stephanus Buić (son of Magdalena Defranceschi); mother of his eight children 1889–1908. Written «Emilia nata Košara» (1889, 1890, 1891), «Škodara» in the 1889 burial entry, «Milica (Emilia) Košara» in 1897, «Cosara» in 1894 — one woman, read in six entries. doc — DGS 005497826, frames 681–696; DGS 005497827, frames 80, 83, 84, 90, 96. Her own birth and death are not known; «daughter of Silvestri» is read in the 1894 baptism. Not of the name's surname.
Two children here carry one name — m a g d a l e n a j o a n n a b u i c. In these parishes that is usually not an error: a child who died was very often replaced by a later child given the same name. It is also exactly how an index invents one person out of two, so both are drawn.
9 of the 9 relationships drawn above are written in a register this archive has read with its own eyes.

…WALKED to its last page (frame 43, 28 Nov 1910). Result: no Defranceschi bride or groom in it at all; Lucia appears once, as a living mother, on 2 July 1905. Still to do: the marriages gap 1865–1885 is not on this film (Stephanus Buić's marriage to Emilia Košara falls in it); deaths 1880–1910 for Magdalena Buić (alive 24 Aug 1882), Lucia (alive 2 Jul 1905) and Stephanus; Jacobus 1883 and Euphemia 1879 against the deaths book; per-record links and plate crops; atlas importer re-run. 14 October 2026, the end of…
A dossier is every mention of a name anywhere in this archive's data, gathered automatically and linked back to the page it appears on, with what the archive knows about the person set out at the top. Identity here is by NAME, not by resolved individual: where two people share a name they share a dossier, and the archive says so rather than guessing. Rebuilt from the roster, so every person the archive can name has a page — including the ones read straight off a register that no index anywhere contains.
