What the archive knows

Born 15 March 1878, baptised 19 March 1878 at Pomer, house 60 — daughter of Matthaeus Lazar (Rusticus) and Lucia Defranceschi (godparents Antonius Zocon and Maria Mihovilović; midwife Maria Fabac). doc — DGS 005497826, frame 665 (births frame 44, page 18; waypoint 9R2F-FMH), magnified. A cross and «8/11 79» stand in the left margin: she died on 8 November 1879, aged 1 year 8 months (doc for the note; no death entry has been looked for). Not in the FamilySearch index extract.

No family is drawn for this name, and no record stands behind it. This archive has not placed it in a household and holds no indexed entry for it — the name reached this project through a chart, a narrative source or the family tree, and everything it does hold is below. The Register is where a record would appear if one turned up.
The same name, written another way

This archive holds 1 other page under what Say Your Name reconciles as the same given name in another language — a Latin register, a Venetian clerk, a Croatian village, a Hungarian office. They are not merged and none of them is claimed to be this person: a shared name is not a shared identity, and the archive will not join one to the other by machine. It is here so that a reader looking for a man the records called Josephus can see where they wrote him Josip.

Euphemia Lazaro (b. 1866 Pomer)

Identity here is by name, not by resolved individual. Where two people of one name appear in this archive they share this page, and it is for the reader to keep them apart — the surrounding text usually makes it obvious. Nothing here is new evidence; it is the same evidence, brought together.

This person has not been written up in an essay yet — most often read straight off a register page that no index anywhere contains. What is known is at the top, and the pages linked above are where the finding sits.

A dossier is every mention of a name anywhere in this archive's data, gathered automatically and linked back to the page it appears on, with what the archive knows about the person set out at the top. Identity here is by NAME, not by resolved individual: where two people share a name they share a dossier, and the archive says so rather than guessing. Rebuilt from the roster, so every person the archive can name has a page — including the ones read straight off a register that no index anywhere contains.
