- Fosca De Franceschi — dates unknown, Svetvinčenat
«Dominicus Defranceschi, et Fosca Uxor ejus», godparents at Svetvinčenat on 16 April 1780. And again at the end of the following year. Carta 90, 31 December 1781: «Patrini ac sacro fonte fuere Joannes Baptista Mischanic, et Jusca uxor Dominici [De]franceschi» — godmother to a daughter of Joannes Pribcovich. The register writes her «Jusca» here and «Fosca» in 1780, which is one woman and two ears. (doc — the given names were read at magnification; the surname at spread scale, against a man independently attested twice in the same volume.) Read 21 September 2026, film 005497885, image 93. Five more appearances, all magnified, all in the same hand. The sweep of frames 90–107 found her at the font again and again:
| date | frame | how the clerk wrote her |
|---|---|---|
| 9 September 1781 | 91 | «Mattheus Bursich, vulgo Petrovich, et Fosca Vxor Dominici Defranceschi» |
| 20 September 1782 | 98 | «Victorius filius Antonii de Franceschi, et Fosca Vxor Dominici Defranceschi» |
| 10 December 1782 | 99 | «Nicolaus Fabri, et Fvsca Vxor Dominici De-Franceschi» |
| 16 December 1783 | 102 | «Matthaeus Doblanovich, et Fvsca Vxor Dominici de Franceschi» |
| 3 January 1784 | 102 | «Matthaeus Cossa, et Fvsca Vxor Dominici de Franceschi» |

This person has not been written up in an essay yet — most often read straight off a register page that no index anywhere contains. What is known is at the top, and the pages linked above are where the finding sits.
A dossier is every mention of a name anywhere in this archive's data, gathered automatically and linked back to the page it appears on, with what the archive knows about the person set out at the top. Identity here is by NAME, not by resolved individual: where two people share a name they share a dossier, and the archive says so rather than guessing. Rebuilt from the roster, so every person the archive can name has a page — including the ones read straight off a register that no index anywhere contains.
