--- 29 September 2026 — his death, his trade, and where he died. > GIULIO fu CARLO — PITTORE ACCADEMICO — FIUME 1856 — MONCALVO 1942 Read 29 September 2026 from David's photographs of the family tomb at Gologorica. (doc.) «Pittore accademico» — an academic painter. This archive had him as born at Fiume in 1856 with no death and no occupation. The stone gives both: he was a painter, and he died in 1942, aged eighty-six. ⚠ «Moncalvo» is Gologorica, the Italian name of the village — not the town in Piedmont. He died at home, and he is the one who set up Armella's cross: «ebbe qui lagrimata sepoltura — il marito Giulio».

A dossier is every mention of a name anywhere in this archive's data, gathered automatically and linked back to the page it appears on, with what the archive knows about the person set out at the top. Identity here is by NAME, not by resolved individual: where two people share a name they share a dossier, and the archive says so rather than guessing. Rebuilt from the roster, so every person the archive can name has a page — including the ones read straight off a register that no index anywhere contains.
