What the archive knows

Daughter of the late Giacomo Corva of Muina, in the diocese of Udine; married Antonio de Franceschi of Gologorica at Svetvinčenat on 14 March 1785. She was living in the parish when she married — «soggetta però alla mia cura spirituale» — though of Muina by origin, and her banns were read there on 20, 22 and 23 December before. Her father Giacomo Corva is named here for the first time in this archive, and was already dead in 1785. The Carnia page had this woman only as «Maria née Corva», wife of the Muina household's second generation, with no marriage found and no father's name. (doc for the entry; inf that she is that Maria.) Svetvinčenat marriages, FamilySearch film 005497886, frame 98, carta 55 (image apid TH-1971-28345-30992-34). Read 30 September 2026; the place name magnified to 2.4× before transcription.

No family is drawn for this name, and no record stands behind it. This archive has not placed it in a household and holds no indexed entry for it — the name reached this project through a chart, a narrative source or the family tree, and everything it does hold is below. The Register is where a record would appear if one turned up.
Identity here is by name, not by resolved individual. Where two people of one name appear in this archive they share this page, and it is for the reader to keep them apart — the surrounding text usually makes it obvious. Nothing here is new evidence; it is the same evidence, brought together.

A dossier is every mention of a name anywhere in this archive's data, gathered automatically and linked back to the page it appears on, with what the archive knows about the person set out at the top. Identity here is by NAME, not by resolved individual: where two people share a name they share a dossier, and the archive says so rather than guessing. Rebuilt from the roster, so every person the archive can name has a page — including the ones read straight off a register that no index anywhere contains.
