No surname is recorded for him and none is supplied here. He is a maternal half-brother of Lucia (1844), Michele (1847) and Maria (1852): the same mother, and Tomas had been dead sixteen months (5 April 1858) when he was born. Nothing further is known; whether he lived has not been searched.

Folio 44 enters «Lucia PALMAN», 7 January 1808, daughter of Stephanus Palman — an unmistakable P at magnification. Both readings survive checking, which is the interesting part.
