This chart is the direct line and nothing else. Brothers and sisters are not drawn here: this archive records kin against a NAME rather than against a person, so the family on a name page may belong to several different people of that name. Where it is drawn it is read from the direct line, person by person.

doc). Father of Cattarina (1844, d. 1855), Antonio (b. 5 June 1846, d. 19 June 1846) and Antonius (baptised 20 April 1848); alive in 1890 as «Antonius, agricola» (the Pula marriage of that year). The groom's parents are written «Matteo Defranceschi e Maddalena …ovich» — the same Matteo and a Maddalena as the parents of Gregorio (b. 1822; baptism: «Mattio De Franceschi» and «Madalena Peuc…»), who marries Maria's sister at the same house fourteen months later: Antonio and Gregorio are brothers — doc: both baptisms read (Antonio 1819, Gregorio 1822) name «Mattio di Franceschi di Antonio, detto Matulin» and Madalena Percovich at house 17. His own baptism is read: «Antonio, born 15 September 1819, baptised the 16th, house 17», to «Mattio di Franceschi di Antonio, detto Matulin, agricoltore» and «Madalena nata Percovich» (Ližnjan births 1816–1864, page 4, image 6 of waypoint 9R2Z-44D, open; doc). The marriage's «aged 23» in November 1843 is a year low against it. A fourth child, Mattio, baptised 8 January 1850 at house 17 — the baptism names this Antonio «fu Matteo» as father and Maria Schiffich di Lorenzo as mother (doc) — and buried on the 16th, aged nine days; named for his grandfather. No one else in this archive carries this name.
