Vižinada
Twenty-three records from 1750, and the parish where the Kaštelir family's children were born.
Vižinada holds the name from 1750, when a Mathæus De Franceschi «of Anton» is buried, and carries it to 1877 — twenty-three records of ours out of twenty-four indexed, across nine volumes opening in 1663.
It is one parish of three. Francesco Napoleone De Franceschi was baptised here on 7 September 1818, son of Giulio and Maria Ceselin; both father and son then appear in the Kaštelir register, and the next generation again at Tar. See Kaštelir for the household as a whole.
Vižinada also carries the parish of Kaštelir in its own books, which is why the death of Mathaeus De Franceschi in 1819 — the one entry this archive found on film 005497893 — is catalogued under Vižinada and took place at Castellier. That confusion cost a day in September and is worth keeping in view.
And Vižinada is why Draguč looked real. FamilySearch's place parameter returns the two parishes' record sets identically; Draguč's twenty-five entries were these.
