Eugen Josef Defranceschi
Eugen Josef Defranceschi, 1875–1890. Pola. Every mention of this name in the archive — 1 across 3 pages.
⭐⭐ A boy of fourteen, the son of the navy servant Johann Defranceschi, dead at Pola in 1890. On 10 November 1890, in the civil hospital at Pola, «Defranceschi Eugen Josef, ehel. Sohn des Johann Defranceschi, k.u.k. Marine-Diener», born at Pola in Istria, Catholic, aged 14, male, single, died of «Schädelbruch» [fractured skull] «laut Todtenschein des Civil-Spitals in Pola», and was buried on the naval cemetery on 12 November 1890 (Pola k.u.k. naval parish «Sterb-Register» 1886–1895, image 92; doc). The entry is marked «Isolirte» in the regiment column — the boy was not a serving man, so the book files him under his father's service. Baptism: «Eugen Josef», born at Pola on 8 December 1875, baptised there on 26 February 1876 (two and a half months later), son of «Defranceschi Johann, k.k. Marinediener 3. Cl.» and «Paula Petra, ehel. Tochter des Peter Rocco, Besitzers aus Pola in Istrien»; godparents «Pietro Cal… [surname uncertain], Carpentiere» and «Giuseppe Colombo, Carpentiere»; baptised by Johann Germeck, Marine-Curat; midwife Maria Zimprich (Pola k.u.k. naval parish baptism book 1863–1876, image 292; doc). Her parents and his birth are therefore doc: the boy of 14 who died in November 1890 was born in December 1875 (14 years 11 months), which agrees with the age written in the death entry. Born 8 December 1875 (baptism, doc).

This person has not been written up in an essay yet — most often read straight off a register page that no index anywhere contains. What is known is at the top, and the pages linked above are where the finding sits.
A dossier is every mention of a name anywhere in this archive's data, gathered automatically and linked back to the page it appears on, with what the archive knows about the person set out at the top. Identity here is by NAME, not by resolved individual: where two people share a name they share a dossier, and the archive says so rather than guessing. Rebuilt from the roster, so every person the archive can name has a page — including the ones read straight off a register that no index anywhere contains.
