Corrected 13 September 2026. This row carried «b. 1880», which cannot be right: the register has her as the mother of three children baptised in 1881, 1883 and 1887. This site's own Gologorica page has had the true dates all along — born at Gologorica 28 October 1860, married a Domazetovich, died at Trieste 22 June 1941 — and the roster was never reconciled to it. The register now places those children at Kršan: «Georgia Francisca» 1881, «Maria Concepta Dorina Cora» 1883 and «Silvia Maria Marcelis» 1887, to Thomas Joachimus Clemens de Domazetovich — a name the index spells four different ways across the three entries. A second De Franceschi woman, Clotildis Adelaidis, marries Rudolfus Stanislaus de Domazetovich in the same parish, with children in 1893 and 1894. ⭐ 5 October 2026 — her baptism found, and it confirms both ends of the correction. Gologorica baptisms, folio 121 (M01069135), house 7: «1860. 9bris 4ᵃ · ANNA-MARIA FRANCISCA nata 28 8bris», of «Franciscus Defranceschi, civis» and «Clotildis Ortis»; midwife «Catharina Cattenar». Above the entry, in a later hand, «† Tergesti 22-6-1941». (doc — DAPA ZM34K-214.)* Born 28 October 1860, baptised 4 November; died at Trieste 22 June 1941. Both dates this archive already held from elsewhere; the register agrees with both to the day. Verification, not discovery — and the roster year of «1880» that was corrected on 13 September is now wrong on paper as well as in argument. ⭐ Her godfather was a Peschle, and he was not in the village. «ANSELMUS PESCHLE … per procuratorem» — by proxy — with «Beatrice Ortis», both cives. What that is worth, and what it is not.
