Clotilda Defranceschi (Ortis)
Clotilda Defranceschi (Ortis), 1834–1881. Novaki. Every mention of this name in the archive — 1 across 2 pages.
Born 12 October 1834, out of Novaki house 2 — «Clotilda uxor Ortis, filia Joannis ac Franciscæ», coming «Ex Parochia Novacis sub N.º 2». Married Franciscus Xaverius Defranceschi — Carlo's brother — on 10 October 1859; died 27 February 1881. Their son Victor Josephus was born 22 April 1862. ⚠ Her surname is written two ways: «Ortis» in the 1826 household book, «Orlis» in the 1894 one. Neither is preferred — the same scribe has not been found writing both. An «Ortis ex Novacco» stands godfather to this family in 1787, seventy-two years before the marriage. This person has not been written up in an essay yet — most often read straight off a register page that no index anywhere contains. What is known is at the top, and the pages linked above are where the finding sits.
A dossier is every mention of a name anywhere in this archive's data, gathered automatically and linked back to the page it appears on, with what the archive knows about the person set out at the top. Identity here is by NAME, not by resolved individual: where two people share a name they share a dossier, and the archive says so rather than guessing. Rebuilt from the roster, so every person the archive can name has a page — including the ones read straight off a register that no index anywhere contains.
